Victoire Marie (née Lemelin) Lukacsy

LUKACSY, Victoire Marie (née Lemelin) - The family of the late Victoire Marie Lukacsy wishes to extend its sincerest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all who expressed their condolences and support during this sorrowful time. We thank our many relatives and friends for their attendance at the visitation and funeral mass as well as for the caring words, telephone calls, e-mail messages, on-line and social media condolences, cards, masses, memorial donations, floral tributes and food. We also extend a special thank you to those who could not attend due to health and/or distance but whose presence was greatly felt and whose gestures of sympathy were truly appreciated. Everyone’s kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. We also thank Father Guy Bertin Fouda, Joan Glabb, church organist, and members of the choir at Église du Sacré-Coeur, in Welland, for the beautiful mass, as well as dear friend Claudette LeBlanc for the comforting readings. We thank Beverley Robidoux, Roger Gervais, Tianna Bernard and Jennifer Laroche, of Welland Funeral Home, for their compassion and guidance. We also thank Laurette Deblois, Jeannette Gilbert and the kitchen staff of the church hall for the delicious luncheon. We also express our sincerest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Dr. C.J. Pauls and his staff for their many years of exceptional care, Dr. Bryan Rittenhouse, the nursing staff of the Surgical (4th) Floor of the Welland County General Hospital as well as Nurse Practitioner Cami D’Uva and the nursing staff of the Woolcott Wing for their excellent care. We also thank Shannon, Maman Victoire’s Personal Support Worker, who, in addition to providing her with exceptional care and companionship, has become family. May God Bless all of them always. We cherish the treasured memories of our precious time spent with Maman Victoire, our loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law, who is deeply loved and greatly missed especially with Christmas and the holidays approaching which always held a special place in Maman Victoire’s and Papa Stephen’s hearts. Both truly were angels on earth. We are consoled in knowing that she is now with God and reunited with Papa Stephen, her parents and loved ones. May Maman Victoire’s memory be an eternal blessing for all who knew and loved her. - Lynn, Michel and Jay13231666
