DOUGLAS - I want to sincerely thank my family, friends, and neighbors for floral tributes, cards, food, and visits during my Mother's (Fanny B. Douglas) illness and after she passed away. Fanny married Alf Douglas, 1942 and moved to the home farm on Rokeby Line, the only place we ever lived, for over 71 years. Alf predeceased her August 19, 1984. Special thanks to Terry Handsor for his prayers and heartfelt sermon. To the Pall bearers: John Samko, John Bell, Tom Tremblay, Dave Braswell, Ron Brand, and Clayt McLauchlin, Honorary Pall bearer Ken Kimble, and the Flower bearers, Colton McLauchlin, Connie Braswell, Connie Brand, Donna May Teskey, and Florence Sinclair. Special thanks to Margaret Guzi for her beautiful piano rendition of Mother's favourite hymns. Thanks to Smith's Funeral Home for their compassion and guidance and the delicious lunch, they so graciously served. I also want to thank Susan Maw and Ann Pearson for all the extra help given to us, and Connie Braswell went beyond the call of duty to look after us. I know these past couple of weeks have been extremely heavy for Connie; but Thank You so much, for everything. I have probably missed mentioning others, "Please Forgive" as I appreciate all the extra care given not only to Mother but also to me. I appreciate your prayers, presence and condolences, more than words can express, at this difficult time. You kindness will never be forgotten. God Bless! Son, Gordon12529590
