THANKS

Dorothy, Frank

Frank, Dorothy, Melissa, Angela, Frank Jr., Rob and Tanya and all of our family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the many prayers, kind words and support during the very saddest time of our lives when we lost our son, a husband, a brother and an uncle. It was at this time, when we needed it most, that the hundreds, no, more than a thousand friends extended to us their condolences, prayers and sympathies that helped to keep us going. If Jay could have seen the number of people that came to pay their respect and attend his service he would have been amazed and I could hear him saying “Hey dad you will never believe what's happening“. Jay's greatest dream in life was to be able to have a full time job so that he could support his wife and start a family, but unfortunately this was not to be. During the last two years Jay had seven different jobs and each time his employers found out that he had epilepsy they let him go, the TD Bank (Toronto) even went as far as to have him sign a letter of resignation as he was coming out of a spell. If a lesson could be learned from this tragedy it would be that people with disabilities also have a place in this world and we should all make an extra effort to accommodate them and to treat them with the respect that they deserve. Despite his affliction Jay was an excellent son, a devoted husband, brother and a loving uncle and will be missed by us all especially his nephew Tyler with whom he shared many happy hours in the pool and playing basketball. Please accept our thanks for all you have done for us, especially the EMS, the Police and Fire departments who tried so very hard to revive Jay, Skwarchuck's Funeral Home for their unending care and guidance, Rev. Tim Walker and all of the people who stayed with us during the night of the accident and the so many lonely days that followed. Thank you so very, very much. The Jonkman Family 10467477
