Emilio Fausto Zannuti

ZANNUTI, Emilio Fausto - The family of the late Emilio Zannuti would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the love and support shown to us this past year while Emilio battled his illness. To those who came to visit him, who gave him hope and support and tried to keep his spirits up, he loved and appreciated it all. To Emilio’s co-workers from St. Elizabeth Home Healthcare, thank you for never forgetting “your buddy” and staying in touch with him right up until the end. To Emilio’s nurse, Rafael and to the PSW’s from Care Partners, your care, compassion and concern was a constant source of comfort for Emilio and for his family. We were sincerely touched by the many acts of generosity shown to us following the loss of our son, brother and uncle through flowers, Mass cards, visitation and donations to Project Share. To Father Gerard from St. Patrick’s Parish, thank you for taking the time to visit Emilio at home and for the beautiful funeral Mass and the heartfelt words that captured Emilio’s spirit. To the pallbearers whom Emilio handpicked himself, his nephew, Rob Rampado, his nephew in-laws, Michael Fragomeni and Sean McQueen, his best buddies, Chuck Williams and Ed Butski and to our good friend Brian Smith who is always a phone call away when we need him, thank you for so lovingly carrying Emilio to his final resting place. Finally to Ernie Morgan at Morse & Son Funeral Home, thank you for always being so kind, compassionate and professional while at the same time offering your personal touch as our friend. We, Emilio’s family, always knew he was caring and devoted nurse but we have been overwhelmed and so proud to have had numerous people, colleagues from the nursing profession, former patients and their families, reach out to us to tell us what a great person and nurse Emilio was and that he always provided that extra touch of compassion with each visit along with some humour. He will be sadly missed by his family but even more by his extended patient community and families. ALWAYS ON OUR MIND, FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. Filomena Zannuti, Pieranna Rampado and family13240902
