ROBINSON, Marjorie Kathleen - On Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her home at the Manotick Place. Predeceased by her husband Arthur. Cherished mother of Margaret (John), David (Barbara) and John (Beverly). Proud and loving grandmother: Julie Harrison (Damien Brown-Graham), Brendan Harrison (Jennifer Clarke). Adam Harrison (Kara Hawthorne), Meaghan Harrison (Adam Smith), Cameron Robinson, Beth Ellen Eacrett (Richard Eacrett) and great grandmother of seven great grandchildren. Born in Kingston on Thames, England February 8, 1924 to her late father and mother Albert and Ellen Gunning. She was a war bride (Dec. 1945) to Canadian Soldier Arthur Robinson, and then immigrated to Canada in 1946. Honouring Marjorie’s wishes, no Funeral Service will take place. A Celebration of Marjorie's life will take place in the spring. She will be buried in Brantford with her husband. If she could have, Marjorie would have taken in every last "unadoptable cat." Donations in her honour would be gratefully received by the Brantford or Ottawa Humane Societies.
We kept in touch with Marjorie by e-mails, if only to discuss our old age aches and pains. We will miss the tete-à-tête if was only by electronics. Sleep soundly love.
She was a very good friend of mine. When we first got to know each other I invited her for Tea, and got my first lesson on how to make a perfect cup of tea,
And she was a perfect friend ever after.
Sincere sympathy from Sandra Dick and family
