DILLON, Bill - William Murray Dillon 78 years, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2017 at Elm Grove Living Centre, Toronto after a lengthy struggle with Schizophrenia. Bill fully enjoyed life in Toronto and his career as an electrical design draftsman until declining health interrupted his career. Bill was the eldest of surviving siblings: Keith, Toronto, Joan (Ken) Stewart, Gananoque, Jean Dillon (Mike Fairley), Toronto, Paul (Kathy Sweeney), Haliburton, David, Cardinal, Doreen (Peter deceased) Thompson, Brampton and Denise, Toronto. Pre-deceased by parents Wilfred and Mary Dillon of Cardinal and brother Donnie. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Family is forever grateful for the wonderful care provided by the dedicated and caring staff at Elm Grove and from David Tong (Mental Health nurse ret'd) and staff at CAMH, Toronto. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place in Cardinal ON at a later date.
The system whose design project he led lasted for over thirty years, and has only recently been replaced by a commercial off-the-shelf system.
