I was a trainee under Dr Mackie in the mid to late 80s. Dr Mackie was a mentor in every sense of the word, as a physician as well as a caring and compassionate human being. In many ways, my approach to my work was influenced by his example. The world is a better place from his being on it.
Ken was a good man

I was a colleague of Ken's in the Imaging Department. I trained under him as well and he was always professional and had a wonderful sense of humour. He was a one of the best that I ever worked with, both as a Radiologist, and a human being.

I am deeply saddened by his passing, but have many fond memories of my time with him

Sincere Condolences
