Anna Elizabeth Mickle

MICKLE, Anna Elizabeth - November 8, 1919 - August 11, 2012 - Anna Elizabeth Mickle passed away at Parkwood Hospital, London. She was born in Romania (Gross Laseln) the eldest daughter of the late Michael and Anna Hillner. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late George Charles Mickle (1993). Dear mother of daughter Georgene (Dale) Lover, Arva, Ontario and sons James Mickle, Sacramento, California and George Mickle Jr. (deceased 2005). Loving grandmother of Wendy (Steve) Visserman, Fort Mill, South Carolina; Rebecca (Jeff) Bouck, Waterford, Ontario; Rodney (Valerie) Lover, London. Loving great-grandmother of Joshua, Cole, Justin Visserman, South Carolina; Robb (Meagan) Bouck of Brantford; Elle Bouck, Waterford; Mason, Emerson, Devlyn Lover, London. Dear sister of Helen Chivers of Vienna; George (Shirley) Hillner, Tillsonburg; Martha McCurdy, Tillsonburg and Herta (Don) Wolford, Stony Plain, Alberta and sister-in-law Marie Hillner, St. Thomas and brother-in-law Ray Mickle Jr., Harrow, Ontario. Anna was predeceased by her dear sister Sarah Driesman, brother Michael Hillner Jr., brothers-in-law Lloyd Chivers and Harold McCurdy and Jake Driesman and nephew Lloyd Chivers Jr. and niece Patty Driesman and also predeceased by sisters-in-law Dorothy (Mickle) Davis and Shirley (Mickle) Brown and Mable Mickle and Lanny Mickle and brothers-in-law Warren Mickle, and Doug Brown. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and families. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Doctors and Nurses and Support Staff caring for Anna on the 5th floor South and 4th floor South and 3rd floor of Western Counties wing of Parkwood Hospital and also to Staff of Waverley Mansion, London. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at North Broadway Baptist Church in Tillsonburg, Ontario on Tuesday, August 21st, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell Shaule, Chaplain Parkwood Hospital officiating.
