Marnie Lee (nee Farren) Luckham

LUCKHAM, Marnie Lee (nee Farren) - lived a wonderful 42 years. She met her husband Richard Allan Luckham at age 18 and fell in love (lust) they married August 29, 1992 and had two beautiful girls on December 1, 1998 Brittany Jenette and Lindsay Jyneen. Marnie fought with tremendous strength, courage and hope for her family over the past few years battling metastatic breast cancer. She passed away with the following people dear to her heart, her father Jim Farren (Betty); sisters Lynn Smijan (Rick) and Debbie Perry (Joe); sisters-in-law Dianne Parvatan (Sylvan), Allana Balesdent (Shawn); Renee Etegan (Alin); brothers-in-law Warren Luckham and Andre Luckham(Erin); father-in-law Allan Luckham (Lucie); mother-in-law Bernice McPhail and her Aunt Alicia Smith. She had four beautiful nieces and nephews on her side of the family Brad Perry, Chauntel Perry, Brandon Smijan and Cole Smijan. Plus five on Richard's side Aaron Lake, Sean Parvatan, Kaylee Molson, and Domonic Etegan. She also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, cousins and most of all her great friends. “You will be in my heart forever, and hang on to the good fun memories“. The family will receive friends at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Drive and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Thursday, May 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel on Friday, May 11th at 11 a.m. for a gathering of family and friends, followed by the interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie. After that those that wish are invited to the Sunbury Lions Club, Montreal Street, Sunbury for music, drinks, light lunch and to support those that begin a new chapter in their lives. To honour Marnie's memory, donations can be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation Cancer Clinic. “I passed away with peace of mind that my husband and my children will continue life with many loving family and friends around them“. “I also want to say thank you to all the other people involved with my care over the years, Dr. Mates, Dr. Heather Ostic, nurse Barb McGlade, Dr. Viola, Dr. Parker, everyone that worked for the cancer clinic team, the Cancare nurses, Palliative care team at KGH and St Mary's of the Lake Hospital and the Home Care providers. Bless you for the extra time that you gave me with my family.“ 11319901

Richard~you certainly made Marnie happy. What an incredible friend and husband you were to her.
Brittany and Lindsay~I first met your mom at Loblaws and we became friends. Eventually, I kept an over-turned milk crate in the department just for her. She would get half the groceries done then come and sit on the crate and visit with me until she felt like getting the rest. She loved to talk about her girls! She loved you both so much.
