Marrie Kennedy

KENNEDY, Marrie - of Chatham, left us suddenly on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Born in Chatham, 69 years ago, daughter of the late Edwin Murphy and Marjorie Strasburg. Surviving are her husband Robert “Bob“. Beloved mother of Marjorie and husband Frank Taraso of Toronto, Edwin Smith and wife Annie of Petawawa, Casey Kennedy and Christina Kennedy. Cherished grandma of Mason Mugridge, Devon and Adarah Smith, Parker and Alex Kennedy. Special friend Wes Bedal of Amherstburg. Predeceased by brothers George Murphy, John Murphy and Edwin Murphy. Marrie was the last surviving member of the Murphy family and was the co-founder of Water Elite in Chatham. Marrie was a past employee of the former Woolco in Chatham. Friends will be received at the BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham (519-352-2390) for visitation on Friday, March 16 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
