RAEBURN, John Alexander Stewart - Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the age of 77. John Raeburn of Orillia, beloved husband of Mary Raeburn. Loving father of Stewart (Sarah) of Coldwater, Robert (Rebecca) of Barrie and Andrew (Cheryl) of Orillia. Loved grandfather of Jeffrey, Michael, Liberty, Ashley, Rachel, & Sarah and by his great granddaughter Sophia. Survived by his sisters Christina Pickard (Fred predeceased) and Irene Halcrow (Ronnie predeceased) of Scotland. Predeceased by Ann & Husband Jim Barrow, Henrietta & husband Jim Johnston and Sadie & husband Bob Thompson. John will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday evening January 12, 2011, at 7 o'clock, in the Vimy Lounge of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, 215 Mississaga St. W., Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
