Mel was a friend during my time in Espanola. He always had a smile and treated everyone fairly.

Sorry to hear he is gone.

Our sympathies.

Mel was one of the best. Did his job very efficiently and very fairly and did not mind looking after those less fortunate when on the job. He battled hard these last few years but still had time for a friendly smile. Mel you will be missed.

Jeanna,Donna, Dianne and family members,

My father informed us of Mel's passing, it is a great loss, he was such a kind and thoughtful man, all the hunting and trapping stories growing up!
