My thoughts and prayers to Lorne's family. Spent much time with Lorne in the EHL days, Syracuse, Jersey. Treasure the memories.
My condolences to Lorne's family and friends

I remember Lorne from his days with the Jersey Devils in the old EHL. I grew up in south Jersey and our family was very involved in hockey. He was a favorite. In those days before hockey became really big, those of us who hung out at Cherry Hill Arena and watched games and skated on weekends were like a big, happy family. The Devils were part of that family as many of them were young and far from home. He was a great hockey player and a very nice guy. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

Al met Doug through a mutual friend and they fished together several times and I went to Knox Church, biked together with the families from Sherbrooke St. and went to school with Doug. Doug was a great person and will be missed.
Miss you already
