Weeping and rejoicing

We were both sorrowed, and gladened to hear of the passing of our dear brother in the Lord, Gren; for to be absent in the body is to present with the Lord. Gren was the most loving, generous, and thoughtful person I think my family has ever met; We will miss all of his wonderful ways. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His holy ones. We look forward to a time when we will once again be united together in the Lord; for the dead in Christ shall rise first...Lovingly in Christ.

I never met Grenville in person but consider him my mentor and greatest friend. A great man and a great Canadian--never to be forgotten. Thank you for being there Grenville--rest in God's care.

I will always remember Gren coming to the hospital to bring flowers to our sister when she was dying. He always had a smile. He was a kind and gentle man who loved his Lord and showed that love to others every chance he got. He has now received his reward. Well done good and faithful servant.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Kay and the rest of the family at this time.

Heather
