GUILLEMETTE, Marguerite (Maggie) - September 18th, 1950 - October 13th, 2010. Passed away at her home with her loving family by her side, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marguerite (nee Labrosse) beloved wife of Camille in her 61st year. Dearly loved mother of Joelle (Joe) and Joey (Stacie). Lovingly remembered by grandchild Jacob, and Grand Dog Nelly . Dear sister of Jeanne D'Arc Leblond (Ernie- deceased), Annette Bédard (Roland- deceased), Thérèse Labrosse and Pierrette Poitras (Gerry-deceased). Predeceased by her parents Marguerite (née Lavigne) and Pierre Labrosse, four sisters, Yvonne Chayer (Laurent deceased), Marie Labrosse, Jacqueline Cyr (Oscar deceased), Rachelle Forget (Yvon surviving) and Ernestine Bourdon (Ron surviving). She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, co- workers and residents of Cassellhome, Les Bons Amis, and by the many others whose lives she has touched. Maggie began her career at the Civic Hospital and then was employed at Cassellholme for almost 30 years. She will always be remembered as a giving person who loved life, family and her many friends. Her generosity and kindness was felt by countless people while her sense of humour and enthusiasm left smiles with all. Maggie dedicated her life to caring for others, and her legacy of compassion will continue far beyond her time on earth. A Special Thank You to Dr. Cowan, Dr. Jinnah and staff, 3rd floor staff at NBGH Scollard Site, CCAC, VON, Para-med and all of those who cared for and helped her during the past two years. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Friday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent de Paul, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donation to the North Bay General Hospital Diagnostic Needs (MRI) would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
