Christina Riddell

RIDDELL, Christina - Mrs. Christina Riddell at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre, Cornwall on Monday July 26, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Loved mother of Glenda Mason (Paul), Bonville; Heather Bisson (Mike McMartin), Cornwall; and Greg Riddell (Sarah), South Lancaster. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Corinne and Courtney Scott, Myles Bisson, and Emma Rae Riddell; as well as 4 step-grandchildren Amanda, Mathew, Bailey and Hunter. Predeceased by her parents John and Marion (Ford) Greer, as well as her sister Mima Bartos. Cremation has taken place. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7- 9 PM, and Wednesday 1 PM until the time of funeral. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Committal to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired contributions in her memory to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family. As I read of Christina's death I can only think of the good memories we made during the short time I knew her. When I arrived at work I would look forward to going to her room to say Good Morning" as I knew this would put a smile on her face. We talked, smiled, lauged and even shed a tear of two, to hold her hand for a brief moment, place a hand on a shoulder or even a hug once in a while. Like a family member she had become and she will be missed.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the passing of Christina. She was a friend from High School and I have very fond memories of her. I haven't see her for 30 years or so but have never forgotten her.

To the Riddell Family

I am sadden to read of the passing of Chris. She was a good friend, and I enjoyed our time together at the bridge table and on the curling ice as well as many social events. She was always a fun person to be around. My deepest sympathy to her family, she will fondly be remembered.
