LYON, Brenda - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Mary Lyon (nee Marjerrison) on Friday, July 23, 2010 at age 67, at the Hamilton General Hospital. She was a gardener, cook, golfer, skating enthusiast, and house renovator with her best friend and husband, John Lyon. She was the generous, loving mother of Christy (Sean) and Marianne (Nick) and grandmother to Megan, Jenna, Branna and Wil. She is the daughter of the late Russell Marjerrison and her friend and mother, Mary Marjerrison and survived by her brothers and sisters, Elizabeth, Bart, Ruth, Ken, Holly, James, Doug, and Mark and their families, and John's sister Janet. Brenda will be fondly remember by her students and teaching colleagues at Earl of March High School in Kanata, Ontario. Friends may call at the MARSDEN AND McLAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME, Iroquois, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Iroquois United Church on Wednesday, July 28th at 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. 9300201
