RUFF, Rae Margaret - In loving memory of Rae Margaret Ruff (nee Lariviere), 89 years, Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Paul Charles Ruff. Loving mother of Karen Ruff, Laurri Boyler, R. Paul Ruff, wife Ann. Cherished grandmother of Anna and Neil, Beth and Tim, Kori, Katie and Josh, Lauren and Tim, Vanessa and Stewart, Jacob and Michele, Phil and Yvonne. Much loved by 17 great grandchildren: Mandie, Meghan, Bekah, Emma, Jaime, Logan, Seth, Michelle, Jordan, Harrison, Lily, Cameron, Simon, Aaron, Alice, Ivy, Molly. Fondly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of Phil and Ellen Lariviere. Remembered with love by her brother John and his wife Judy, and by her brothers-in-law, Bob and Jack Ruff and Jack’s wife Lynn. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy and brother Lawrence. Lifetime residents of Sudbury, Rae and Paul met, fell in love, and were married in 1946. They were lovers, helpmates, best friends and devoted companions for 67 years. Rae will be joyfully remembered for the many gatherings of family and friends, both at home and at camp. All were welcomed and embraced. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME , 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Monday, February 18th, 2019 at 4pm. (Friends may call after 2:30pm Monday). Cremation with interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or HSN Cardiac Unit would be appreciated. To Karen, Laurri and Paul and the families, we are sorry to hear of Rae's passing. But what a wonderful full life she had. We could not have asked for better next-door neighbours than Rae and Paul and you kids. We have great memories of life with the Ruffs on Latimer Cres.
