PITE, Verna Eileen (nee Kendry) - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the John Noble Home on Saturday February 9, 2019. Verna (nee Kendry) of Brantford, in her 96th year. Beloved Wife of the late Derek Pite (2018) for 76 years. Loving Mom of Marilyn Hutchison, Ken, David (Deb), Joanne (Les) Mannen, Gord (MaryJane), Norm (Pam). Cherished Grandma of 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Shorey, brothers Howard, Wilfred, Ted, and sister Muriel. Verna will be sadly missed by her many family & friends Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME , 134 King Street, Burford on Friday February 15, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. followed by Funeral Service to be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
