Jose Gregorio

GREGORIO, Jose - Passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born in the Azores, Jose Gregorio, of Petrolia, was 63 years old. He was the loving husband of the late Sandra Rosemary (nee Lepp)(2017). He will be missed by his daughter Jessica, his granddaughter Mykayla, and his sister Maria Ortins. He will be also be missed by his close friend Doug Hammond and many other relatives the Azores, Canada and USA. Jose was predeceased by his son Jason (2007) and his parents Cirino (1998) and Maria (2001) Gregorio. He was proud member LiUNA local 1089 and retired from Suncor three years ago. He was also an active member of the Petrolia Lions Club and the Portuguese Canadian Club. Visitors will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME , 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 am from Christ Church Anglican, 414 Oil St., Petrolia. Interment will be in Queen’s Park Cemetery in Calgary. My condolence to Jessica and family. Joe was our neighbour for quite a few years and we had many a great time together. He was a master wine maker and was also always there when anyone needed a hand with any job. Joe was a true friend and will be missed. RIP

Our condolences go out to the Gregorio family. Little Joe was a good friend to my father Jim Swass. He will be missed by many that had the good fortune to know him. May he Rest in Peace !
