OLSON, Edith Annie (née Bell) - Of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Continuing Care Unit on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Olson (2004) and dearly loved mother of Wayne, David and Beverley. Cherished grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert Bell (Lillian), William Bell (late Joyce), the late Charles Bell (late Eleanor June) and the late Beatrice “Beattie” Rumley (late Bud). Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Edith was born in St. Thomas on December 12th, 1926, daughter of the late H.E. and Beatrice Bell. Edith worked for Bell Canada. She was a member of St. Thomas Christian Church. Resting at WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME , 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 11:00am. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00am. Private interment will take place in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the STEGH Foundation or to the Sunshine Foundation. 13319708

To Bev, David and Wayne & families, please accept my condolences on the passing of your Mom. In a time when all the Moms in the neighbourhood looked out for all the kids, your Mom was always kind and fair. If she had to speak to anyone to 'smarten them up' a bit, she was always firm but said it with a smile. You had a nice Mom and so I'm sure you have lots of happy memories of her.
