Patricia Broome

BROOME, Patricia - Peacefully, at Seaforth Community Hospital, Patricia Agnes Broome, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018. In her 83 years among us, Pat was a quiet source of love and kindness among her family circle and within our community. Pat enjoyed an adventure through the countryside, used her humour to lighten any situation and found great joy in attending every social event scheduled. Predeceased by her husband, George (January 2015), Pat will be lovingly remembered by her children Herb (Donna) Broome of Stayner, Dan (Anne) Broome of London, Kathleen (Casey) Blackbird of Wallaceburg, and mother-in-law of Helen Talisman of Michigan. Memories of a special grandma remain with grandchildren Chris (Lise) Broome, Phillip (Rosemarie) Broome, David (Angela) Talisman, Dalton Talisman, Danny Talisman, Liz Black, Jessica (Andre Ebow-gagne) Broome, and great-grandma of Emily-Dawne and Christopher Broome, Emily Wright and Vale Talisman. Pat will be fondly remembered by the extended Broome family. Along with her husband George, in faith, we trust that Patís spirit is reunited in eternal life with her son David Talisman and her sister Loretta (Leonard) Strozeski. Arrangements were entrusted to McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME , (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Visitation took place on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth, from 10 a.m.-noon, followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with Father Clare Coleman presiding. Interment occurred at St. James Catholic Cemetery and a reception followed at Seaforth Legion, Branch 156, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Alzheimer Society of Huron County or the charity of oneís choice would be appreciated by the family.
