MacDONALD, David Manley - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of David MacDonald at home on Friday, February 9th, 2018 in his 66th year. Predeceased by parents Earl MacDonald and Isobel MacDonald (Nee: Manzel). Raised by Aunt Brita Armitage and Uncle Robert Armitage. Husband to Karen MacDonald. Loving father to Bryan MacDonald (Kelly) and Chris MacDonald (Sharon). Brother to Stephanie Hall, Pamela Lentini, Cindy Armitage, Steven Armitage and Alex Armitage. David also known as "Scooter Papa" will be forever remembered by his grandchildren Evan, Madison, Brooke, and Kayla. Great grandfather to Emily. David was a proud member and coach for Quinte Youth Bowling for many years, Cops and Kids Fishing Organization, and was a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter at Thurlow Station #3 (Point Anne). In keeping with David's Wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME , 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). On Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Followed by an internment at Belleville Cemetery. If Desired, Donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
