Annabelle Ovens (nee McNeillie) Ovens

OVENS, Annabelle Ovens (nee McNeillie) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annabelle Ovens. Annabelle passed away peacefully in her home on Friday February 9th, with her loved ones by her side. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Bruce A. Ovens, daughter Cheryl Ovens, and son David Ovens, along with her grandchildren Alexandra, John, and James. Survived by her parents Robert, and Selena McNeillie, and by her son John Ovens. In her younger years Annabelle was a member of the Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church, where she attended Sunday school, and sang in the Choir. She was also a CGIT leader for many years, before becoming an active member of the Chippawa Presbyterian Church, where she is beloved by many members of her congreation. She also belonged to the Women’s Missionary Society for 50+ years. Annabelle touched the lives of many, never forgetting a name, or missing a chance to make someone laugh with her quick wit. Her warm heart, and kind nature will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank minister Doug Schonberg, and HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL . As well as a special thanks to the palliative care team, and the HNHB LHIN for helping take care of Annabelle in her final days. Visitation will be held at 10am on Tuesday February 13th at the Chippawa Presbyterian Church, service to follow at 11am. Donations can be made to the Lupus Society, or the Chippawa Presbyterian Church. Online condolences can be made at www.hetheringtonanddeans.com13251806
