I was 10 to 15 when Daryl was rattling the old Garden boards. Another Big Bad Bruin can rest in peace knowing the joy he brought to the Boston fans. " Salute!"

Hi Pat & family; My deepest Condolences.I just found out 2 nights ago from Fred Stanfield, who I just met in Fla where we both have winter homes. I was shocked and saddened with this news, as I played a lot of golf and hockey with Darryl when I was living in London. Those London years were mostly good times and memories.Hockey was his life. He would have few regrets, because, he loved it, and all the people, and places it allowed him to go.

Dear Pat, Darryn and Leanne,

I'm so sorry to hear of Darryl's (Mr. E) passing. My sincere condolences. I have many fond memories of all the Beachwood Ave families, not to mention the children ( Darryn and Leanne) I babysat so often! My thoughts are with you all at this time.

Shirley

We met Darryl many, many years ago when he walked into our bar, Brickyard BBQ in South Etobicoke. Since then Darryl has become part of our family and a great friend. Everyone loved hearing Darryl's stories and listening to his advice on Sports.Especially Football! He knew a lot more than hockey alone. If Darryl didn't make it into the bar, everyone asked where he was. He touched many people. His seat at the bar will never be the same. RIP friend.
