Dr. Karl Maxwell "Max" Irwin

IRWIN, Dr. Karl Maxwell "Max" - 1931-2017 Max passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 4, at the age of 86. He will be missed by his loving wife Dr. Patricia Irwin and their four children: Debra Foster (Rob), Charles “Ted” Irwin (Linda) Dr. Paul Irwin (Lise) and Heather Irwin. He was a proud grandfather of ten: Christopher, Jonathon, Mathew, Brendon, David, Laura, Alex, Dayna, Max and Lily. Max met his wife, Pat at the University of Toronto, where they graduated together in the Medical class of 1955. After completing his fellowship in OBS/GYN Max and Pat moved to Cornwall where they set up their practices. A Celebration of Life for Max will be held at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) on Saturday, April 22nd form 1 to 3 pm. Dr Max was a wonderful caring physician and man, who made working so much easier. He made patients and staff feel comfortable He was missed when he retired and will be remembered for all the beautiful lives he brought into the world. Deepest sympathies and prayers to Paul , Lise and family.

"Dr.Max Irwin" brought so many gifts into this world, especially Cornwall. Dr. Pat, Dr. Paul and the Irwin Family, we wish you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. He was one of the best Doctors and it should run in the family...this includes his wife and son. May you rest in Peace “Dr Max” and enjoy your new journey…everything is there waiting for you.

I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to Dr.Patricia,Dr.Paul and family.I certainly have fond memories of Dr.Max when I worked at the HDH as a public health nurse.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
