Trisha Doan

DOAN, Trisha - We are broken-hearted to share the passing of our beloved Trisha on Saturday, February 11th, 2017, in Surfers Paradise, Australia. To all who knew her, she lived life passionately and with her heart on her sleeve. We were all blessed to have had her bright light in our lives. Trish always stood up for what she believed in and she wasn't afraid to tell the truth. She was a passionate musician, a talented photographer, and a renowned techie whose ability to solve Dad's computer issues will be sorely missed. Trish was chasing a dream of settling in sunny Australia. Through this dream, she experienced the highest highs but also many struggles. Now Australia, and our family will never be the same. Her parents, June and Jim, sister, Riley (Jeff), brother, Andrew (Amy), and nephew, Milo, will be strong, and we ask that you are too, because that?s what Trish would want. Trisha will also be deeply missed by her grandmother, Teresa, her extended family, and her many friends. Please reach out and give your loved ones a big hug. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24th, 2017 from 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL , 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Trisha are asked to consider the Mood Disorder Society of Canada (memo: London Defeat Depression). Warm thoughts and condolences to Trisha's family and friends. This is a great loss to the music scene and to everybody who got the chance to see Kittie live on stage. I will continue listening to that album. I'm sharing moments of peace and silence in respect to an amazing musician who passed away. Much respect.
