Sandra Orosy

OROSY, Sandra OROSY, SANDRA Unexpectedly Monday December 12, 2016 in Mississauga hospital from complications related to a recent surgery. Left with a broken heart is Laurie Masters, her wife, soulmate and best friend. Sandra is also survived by her sister Donna Collum (Ray) and nephews Cory and Ruston from her hometown of Kenora and cousins from across North America and Hungary. Predeceased by parents Mona and Julius Orosy, also of Kenora and aunts and uncles, most recently Aunt Eva with whom Sandra had a special bond. Special friend of Kelly Adshead, her step-daughter from a previous marriage. Sister-in-law of Vivian Warren (Mike) of Lindsay, aunt of Randall and Peter Warren, Corey Rice and Todd Aistrop. Good friends from Kenora, Sault Ste Marie, McGregor Bay, Puerto Escondido and points far and wide are grieving the loss of this beautiful soul who enriched the lives of everyone she touched. A year ago Sandra's precious doberman Tara died and it is perhaps Tara's spirit that drew Sandra to the spirit world. Tara's sister Athena and rescued street dogs Chakra, Boychi and Negra mourn their loss. Sandra was a well regarded Chiropractor who practiced in Houston, Kenora, Dryden, Red Lake, Sault Ste Marie and Puerto Escondido. She had a special gift for healing that reached beyond traditional chiro work. Since 2011 construction was her focus as she and Laurie renovated their summer home in McGregor Bay and built a new winter home / hobby farm in Puerto Escondido, Mexico that are truly expressions of Sandra's artistic talent and vision. In recent years they travelled throughout Mexico and Central America in 'Vamos' their Roadtrek van. 2017 was to be the start of a series of international adventures. Thank you to Laurie's sister Vivian Warren and family and Sandra's cousin Debbie Crawford for their support in Mississauga. Special thanks to dear friends Elizabeth and Gerry Quinn for their care of Sandra during the few days before her passing and support of Laurie in the days that followed. Memorial services in Kenora, McGregor Bay and Puerto Escondido will be arranged at a later date. Cremation has taken place. With regard to memorial donations, in recent years dog rescue in Puerto Escondido became a special interest with Sandra's adoption of three street dogs, Chakra, Boychi and Negra. Donations to Perros en Puerto A.C. would be appreciated and may be made online at perrosenpuerto.org Condolences may be left in the Families in Our Care section of www.basicfunerals.ca13128389

Sandra was a wonderful gifted spirit. She would try anything. She put her heart and soul into her healing practices. I am so sorry for your loss Laurie. Sandra had told me of her new found love many years ago. I am sorry I never met you but I know Sandra had found her true passion. Rest in peace Sandra.

My condolences to Sandy's family and friends. She was a friend first, and my first chiropractor who convinced me how helpful chiropractic adjustment could be in my life. Rest in peace, my end.rie
