Richard William Reid (Bill) Walker

WALKER, Richard William Reid (Bill) - Bill Walker, who fulfilled his childhood dreams of flight as an aerospace engineer, passed away on Monday, October 17th, after a brave and defiant fight with cancer. He was 64. An adventurer who immersed himself into aircraft, music, theatre, history, F1 Racing, birding, teaching, and so much more, Bill was a deeply curious man. He loved his family dearly, and was surrounded by them in his final moments: his wife, Ann; his daughter, Claire; his son, Drew; his sister, Nora Axhorn; his brother-in-law, Andy Axhorn; and his son-in-law, Danny Krupp. He is also survived by John Maas, Diana Maas, Victoria Higgins, Chris and Carla Andrusiak, and a large extended family. Bill's remains were cremated, and a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy and donations to the Canadian War Planes Heritage Museum and the London Health Sciences Foundation (London Regional Cancer Program) can be made through LONDON CREMATION SERVICES at (519) 672-0459 or online at www.londoncremation.com.13108330
