World War II Veteran and Fourth Degree, Chevaliers de Colomb. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne d'Arc Davidson (Houde). Dear father of Claude Davidson (Susan) of Sydney, Australia, Micheline Martel (Denis), Monique Poirier (Robert) and Robert Davidson (Diane) all of Cornwall. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey (Melanie), Stephen (Rebecca), Marie-France (Joel), Andrée-Anne (Jean-Nicolas), Myriam, Dominique, Jean Patrick and Paul André and great grandfather of Marshall. Dear son of the late Alexandre Davidson and the late Aldéa Vachon. Dear brother of Gérard Davidson and Thérèse St. Amour (Gérard) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Oscar and Raymond Davidson. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First St. East (613-933-2841) from 2 P.M. Friday. Funeral, Saturday, July 13, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in Ste. Croix Church at 10 A.M. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of Funeral. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
