SMITH, Beverley June (nee-Shaver) - Peacefully with her family at her side, at PRHC Palliative Care on Saturday, May 11, 2013, in her 66th year, after a valiant, graceful, and often successful battle with ovarian cancer. Bev will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a friend and co-worker of mine for many years at the Peterborough Civic Hospital, an excellent, caring, dedicated nurse and mother. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all at this difficult time.

Bev is going to be greatly missed by everyone whom was lucky enough to have known her as a family member, friend or colleague. I have known her in all 3 roles. She was a compassionate, giving and caring person and instilled these traits in her children which was evidenced by their devotion to her. I feel we all have an angel watching over us now especially her much loved children and grandchildren. Please accept my sympathy at this time. Glenda

This was one of the nicest ladies I have ever had the privilege of getting to know over the past year and a half. A tremendous loss to everyone who knew her.
