Tremblay, Jean-Marie "John" - With great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Jean-Marie John Tremblay on Tuesday, November 4th, 2003, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Beloved husband of Madeleine Ct for fifty-two years. Loving father of Claudette and Suzanne Tremblay of Vancouver, Nicole Gordon Murray of Australia and Marc Jeannette Tremblay of Oakville. Sadly missed by grandchildren John Jenny and Jamie Sally, Kathleen, Madeleine and Nathalie, Christian and Rene. Survived by six sisters: Gemma, Jeanne D'Arc, Colette, Madone, Georgette & Rachelle; two brothers: Sylvain and Olivier; and two sisters-in-law: Dell and Eliette. Also survived by many more sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews. John was born May 31, 1920, in St-Lon le Grand, Qubec. He was a veteran of the Second World War and in 1951 moved to Niagara Falls with his new bride to work for Ontario Hydro at Sir Adam Beck 2 generating station. Later, he was a custodian at Table Rock Niagara Parks 0002000003D50000041E3CF,Commission, where he retired after twenty-five years. He was a founding member of La Paroisse St-Antoine de Padoue and of cole St-Antoine. Furthermore, he was a member of "Chevalier de Colomb", Club Alouette and ge d'Or St-Antoine. Jean-Marie's family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street in Niagara Falls on Friday November 7th, from 2:00-4:00 PM and from 7:00-9:00 PM. A prayer vigil will be held at 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St-Antoine de Padoue Church, 4570 Portage Road in Niagara Falls, on Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 AM. Cremation will ensue and a private family service will follow at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the charity of their choice. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Greater Niagara General Hospital and the staff of Bella Senior Care Residence, for their tender care. "Je vais l-bas parmi les anges"0
