Margaret Winnifred (nee Peets) Foster

FOSTER, Margaret Winnifred (nee Peets) - Passed away peacefully in her 93rd year at Norview Nursing Home, Simcoe, Ontario on January 29, 2013. Predeceased by her loving husband Stanley in 1988. Sadly missed by her children John (Noelle) Foster, Honey (Howie) Cornfoot and David Foster. A loving and proud Nana to her grandchildren, Terri, Scott, Rebecca, Stephanie, Jonathan, Melanie and her great grandchildren Evan, Bennett, Liam, Seth, Cherry. Always remembered and loved by her brother Harold Peets and her many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Brantford and worked alongside her husband Stan for many years at Fosterís Jewellery store in Brantford and Niagara on the Lake. Following Stanís death she opened her store in Port Dover. For 17 years she enjoyed meeting the many residents and tourists who passed through her doors until she retired at the age of 88. She was an active member of Tyrell Baptist Church. We give our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Norview and to her friend Cindy Gaetz for all their care, kindness and support. You always made her feel special. Margaret was laid to rest by her family at Farringdon Cemetery, Brantford on February 1, 2013. Donations in her memory to the Alzheimerís Society of Simcoe would be appreciated.
