JOHN, Marcia "Marcie" Rose - March 18, 1961 - January 24, 2013 Marcia Rose, beloved wife of James Aird of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her loving husband by her side on January 24, 2013 at the age of 51 years. Marcie had a wonderful sense of life and had a love for the living things around her. She welcomed all animals into her life, especially dogs. She was a true "Dog Whisperer". Marcie had an amazing laugh that could make anybody have a good day. She will be remembered as a great person who showed empathy and compassion. She is survived by her loving husband and companion of twenty years, Jim Aird; Jim's daughter, Riel Taylor-Aird (Pete); brother and sister, Mervin and Janet John of Ontario; Jim's brother, Steven Aird (Sarah); Andie (Scoop) and Donna, as well as numerous family and friends in Ontario and B.C. As we say goodbye, we reflect on so many things about her. Nonetheless this is not goodbye, but a see you later. Join your creator, spread your wings and sing with the angels, for you are always our angel in the sky. A Celebration of Marcie's Life will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Boccavino Lounge & Grill, 2220 Centre Street N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2T5.
