Ralph Morin

MORIN, Ralph - In loving memory of Ralph Morin who passed away after a short illness Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at Health Sciences North at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 65 years of Violet Ethel (Timberg) Morin of Sudbury. Loving father of Ronald (Patricia) both predeceased, Marlene Cundari (Tony) and James (Debbie) of Sudbury and Bradley (Mary) of Kirkland Lake. Cherished grandfather of Derek (Jacquie) of Toronto, Tricia Lafontaine (Roger) of Sudbury, Graham (Martha) of Chicago, Cory Steinberg (Ken) of Sault Ste. Marie, Todd (Michelle) of Chicago, Mark (Krystal) of Sudbury, Gregg (Hannah) of Chicago and Violet of Kirkland Lake and 13 great grandchildren. Dear son of Karl and Bertha (Hanninen) Toikka both predeceased and predeceased by his birth father Joseph Morin. Dear brother of Rose Richardson (George) and Lila Cramer (Douglas) all predeceased. Ralph was very active within the Finnish community and was the President of the Finnish Senior Citizens Club of Sudbury. Always had a helping hand to give and was one to put others before himself. A special thank you to Dr's Khomeni and Andrew Knight and the 4th floor nursing staff at Health Sciences North. At Ralph's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation and the Arthritis Society would be appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME). Vi, I'm so sorry to hear about Ralph's illness and passing. I wish I'd known. I hope you are doing okay. I know how close you two were. He was such a gentle, loving man. We were lucky to have him, weren't we. I'll be in touch.

I am shocked! I didn't know Mr. Morin was sick. I bought your family home from him when he moved across the street. Over the years he would lend me tools, lend an ear, and lend a hand. He was a great neighbour and friend. I will miss him dearly.

Vi and family,

We were sadden to hear of Ralph's passing, he will be missed around the yard, always eager to lend a helping hand whenever needed. He was a good friend and a great neighbour and will be greatly missed.Our thoughts are with you and your family in this sad time.

Dear Vi and Family:

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Ralph. You and Ralph were great neighbours and friends to our family for so many years. Ralph was always around to lend a hand to my dad. And over the years they became great buddies, working in each other's yards and on little projects. I am sure they are already conjuring up projects up above. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
