Magdalena Jadwiga Galka

GALKA, Magdalena Jadwiga - July 14, 1958 - January 21, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Magdalena "Mag" Galka, on January 21, 2013 at the age of 54 years. Mag was born in Poland in 1958, and immigrated to Canada just before the birth of her son Rob. Mag is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob; her son Rob (Melanie); and her mother, Krystyna. She will be forever remembered for her love of horses, rottweilers, and hunting. Her charismatic personality and loving spirit lit up the room where ever she went; there was never a dull moment with Mag. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Drive S.E.) on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 am with The Rev. James Hagel, Presider. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Mag's family through www.evanjstrong.com. Arrangements in care of EVAN J. STRONG FUNERAL SERVICES. Telephone: (403) 265-1199. Our deepest condolences Bob, we loved spending time with you guys in Didsbury. Mag was a strong, smart woman with a great sense of humour. She carried herself with dignity and a caring attitude for her friends and family. We were proud to know Her and for Her to call us friends. You will be in our prayers. Love Gary & Teri.
