Harvey L. Vaughan

VAUGHAN, Harvey L. - Passed away, peacefully, "Promoted To Glory," on Thursday, January 10th, 2013, at the Chateau Gardens, Aylmer, Harvey L. Vaughan, a lifelong resident of Vienna, at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence Vaughan and the late former Ruth Horley (both were from Houghton Township). Survived by a relative John Horley and family. Harvey was a member of Tillsonburg Community Living and he had many friends there and throughout Vienna and Tillsonburg (Town Centre Mall), C.C.A.C., V.O.N. and the counsellors and staff of the Community Living and the Salvation Army Church. He was a musician who jammed regularly with friends at Goldie’s Restaurant in Vienna, playing the guitar, banjo and mandolin. Funeral Service was conducted on Monday, January 14th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg by Major David Paylor of the Tillsonburg Salvation Army Church. Visitation was Monday afternoon, one hour prior to service (12:30 to 1:30 p.m.). Interment followed in the Vaughan family plot in the St. Luke's Cemetery, Vienna. Memorial donations (by cheque) to the "Tillsonburg Community Living" or the "Salvation Army Church, Tillsonburg" through the VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME , Tillsonburg (519)842-4238.
