CHATTEN, Ronald Weston (Ron) – Passed away at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Sunday December 30th, 2012. Ron Chatten, of R.R.1 Foxboro, in his 64th year. Son of the late Jesse and Florence Chatten. Beloved husband and best friend for 37 years of Kathy Darlene Chatten (nee Waite). Dear father of Sheila Kearns (Josh) of Whistler B.C., and Jamie Chatten (Susanne) of Thomasburg. Dear brother of Margaret Lownsbrough (David) of Oakwood, William Chatten (Thelma) of Belleville, Jack Chatten (Faye) of Frankford, Barbara Pollock (Wayne) of Warkworth, Doris MacMillan (Ray) of Foxboro, Wayne Chatten (Judy) of Corbyville, Ivan Chatten (Nancy) of Foxboro, Edward Chatten (late Cathy) of Belleville, Glen Chatten (Doreen) of Trenton, and Mary Stoughton (Bill) of Foxboro. Predeceased by his brother Kenneth Chatten. Loved Poppa of Corban and Sloan Kearns, and Lindsay, Whitney, Sierra, Paige, and Nolan Chatten. Ron will be sadly missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to be held in the chapel of the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Tuesday January 8th, 2013 at 2:00p.m. with visitation prior to the service from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Reverend Norm Long officiating. A private interment will take place in Lindsay at a later date. Special thanks to the Doctors and staff of the Ottawa Heart Institute for their dedication to Ron's care. Ron, you we a great friend. A co-worker with a big heart and a guy who showed leadership and diplomacy. You had a talent for resolving any issue and making things right. One of the best mentors in all my years of employment. God Bless you Ron, I know he will look after you. My condolences to you Kathy, Sheila and Jamie and families.

To Jack, Ivan and Glenn and families, please accept our sincere sympathy. Although we didn't know Ron well, we can only feel the loss this gap will leave in such a great group of dedicated, honest, fun-loving,hard working siblings. You, no doubt will have some great memories, and, dwell on them.

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing, I was fortunate to know Ron briefly while at Black Diamond and found him a great person. Kathy, please know my thoughts are with you in your sadness and I know Ron will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
