REX-RUTTAN, Sonia - passed away suddenly at North Bay Regional Health Centre on November 11, 2012. Born Sonia Laura Rex, November 20, 1934 in Toronto. Predeceased by her father, Charles Philip Rex, her mother, Sylvia (nee Daly) of Malartic, Quebec, first husband Frederick Duncan Corcoran, and second husband Nelson Ruttan. Survived by her brother Grant Rex (Beth) of Malartic, and her sons Robert Corcoran (Sherry) of Toronto and Bruce Corcoran (Mary Beth) of Chatham; Granddaughters Miranda and Brenna, and Godson Graham Likeness (Deborah) of Toronto. The family would like to express its sincere thanks to the Van Meer familyof North Bay for all of the support offered to Sonia over the years. A memorial service will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd at 2 p.m. on Saturday November 17. Sincere condolences, to her entire family and friends. To everyone that knew her, she left lasting memories in there heart's. Special thank's to CCAC (red cross)for all your love and devotion when she lived at home and to Nipissing Manor's staff, resident's for making her stay a safe and loving experience.
