VERMEERSCH, Katherine - Regretfully but relieved she is now in a better place, the family is saddened with the loss of Katherine Elaine Vermeersch (Clark) of Ingersoll on January 30th, 2011 at Woodstock General Hospital in her 52nd year. Beloved wife of 33 years to Noel Vermeersch of Ingersoll. Loving mother to Lisa and Anthony Smedley of Fresno TX, Nicole and Donnie Paton of Vershoyle and Adam Vermeersch of London. Proud Grandmother to Zachary and Tyler Paton. Dear daughter of Frank and Carol Clark of Norwich. Sister to Sherry and Keith Dewhirst of Waterford and Lori and John Rettie of Norwich. Sister-in-law to Leah and Joel Velbeelprez of Alta Loma, CA, Clara and Urban Dehens of Langton, Georgette and Jay Garren of Lincon CA, George and Willy Vermeersch of Tillsonburg, John and Arlene Vermeersch of Norwich, Dan and Diane Veremersch of Norwich, Jenny and Pete Bouw of RR#1 Vittoria, and Joel and Jeannine Vermeersch of Norwich. Survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her mother and father in-law, Gaston and Rachel Vermeersch and by her brother-in-law Mark Culbert. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Karen Fryer, Diane Murray RN and the nurses of 2nd floor east of Woodstock General Hospital for their care and compassion during Kathy’s stay. There will be a Memorial service held at the Norwich United Church officiated by Rev. Donna Bowman - Woodall on Feb 5th at 1:00 followed by a reception which will be held in the basement of the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathy’s memory to the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation.9832629

I was so very sorry and shocked to hear about Kathy. I had no idea she had not been well. You will miss her dearly I know. Hold tight you all you memories and she will never be far away.
