BANIK, Lynda Joyce - Surrounded by her Lord and Saviour, Lynda Joyce Banik passed away at her home suddenly on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Edward for 38 years. Loving mother of Michael (Michelle) of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Chloe. Treasured daughter of Joyce and the late George Strevel. Dear sister of David (Jeannette) Strevel. Loved aunt of John (Elizabeth) Strevel, Daniel Strevel, and Kristina (John) Pauls, and great-aunt of Abigail and Caleb. As a longtime member of Bethel Pentecostal Church, Lynda had a great amount of faith and trust in her Lord. She loved sharing her written poetry, she was very caring and sensitive, especially when it came to her companionship with her mother. Lynda will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 26, 2010, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sarnia. Cremation will follow.
