LUNHAM, Gordon Keith - Peacefully with his granddaughter by his side, Gordon K. Lunan (formerly of Alvinston) passed away October 8, 2009 at Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia in his 92nd year. Gord now joins his beloved wife Nancy (2006) whom he has missed dearly. Predeceased by his daughter Donna Braithwaite (2007). Gord is survived by his granddaughter Karen (John) Berdan, and great-grandchildren Natasha and Shelbie of Petrolia and Chantelle Larose and family of Victoria, B.C. Also Survived by step-son Patrick (Maxine) Eveland of Grand Bend and their children and families. Gordon was born in Sarnia September 28, 1918. He received his schooling in Sarnia. His job career began at Imperial Oil, proceeded to Polymer Corporation, Canadian Oil, Intercol Columbia, Colyer Carbon Chemical Company in Brea California and thence back to Sarnia and Alvinston. It was Gord's wishes to be cremated and interment of both his and Nancy's ashes be performed together at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia with a private family service at a later date. There will be no public visitation or funeral. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
