HILBERT, Patricia Elizabeth (nee Quinn) - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Bluewater Health, Patricia “Honey” Elizabeth Hilbert passed away at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Jack Hilbert (2009). Loving mother of Doug (Deb) Hilbert and the late Nancy Hilbert (Kirk Pretty). Cherished grandmother of Bryan, Samantha, Victoria, Lexi, J.C., Tanner, Cassidy, Chad and Jake. Treasured great-grandmother of Charlotte. Dear sister-in-law of Gary McBean (late Fran), Ted Archer (late Mary), Clair Penfound (late Katy), and Rose Hayes. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Gerald (Delores), Donald (Marion), Maurice, James, Jean (Bob), Dorothy (Oscar), Mary, Katy, and Frances. Patricia will be remembered for her kind heart and love for her family. She enjoyed travelling with her family to her favourite destinations, especially Disney, Vegas, Tennessee, and Punta Cana. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Bluewater Health ICU, 4th Floor, for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME , 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, February 11, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).
