GREENWOOD, Stephen Paul - With his family by his side, Stephen passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of 36 years to Margot. Loving father to Melissa (Josiah), and Sean. Proud grandfather of Matthew. Survived by his mother, Donna Greenwood, brothers, David (Janet), Marc (Carla), sisters Laura Hardy (Michael) and Lynda Miller (Jeff). Loved by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Paul Greenwood (2007). Stephen worked for CN Rail for 41 years. He grew up in Sarnia and attended SCITS high school. A true "southender". Later he received a diploma in Drafting and Design from Lambton College. Stephen was an accomplished wrestler, football player, and an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders. In recent years he and Margot moved to London to be closer to their children and grandson while enjoying traveling and planning retirement. Stephen will be dearly remembered for his gentle soul and kind heart. A service will be held at a later date.

To the Greenwood family,
No words will heal a broken heart. There is absolutely nothing I could possibly say that will comfort you all during this most difficult time. Although the past many years we haven't had any contact, I remember Steve as a kind, soft spoken, caring person. I've kept you all in my Prayers and will continue to Pray for comfort and strength. Please know our family is thinking of you all.
Love from Carianne Burgin (Mosienko/Bissonnette) and family.

I knew Stephen as a young boy and as we exchanged greetings as he walked along Stuart Street on his way home from school, he won my heart with his gentle, kind, caring way. As I watched him grow into manhood, he never changed, but became the same wonderful, caring adult that I encountered years before. My love and support go out to his mother Donna, my forever friend and all of Stephen's family. God Bless and Keep You Stephen!
