Geraldine Mary (nee Campbell) Hagarty

HAGARTY, Geraldine Mary (nee Campbell) - Passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Friday, February 1st, 2019, at Extendicare Nursing Home. Gerry was born in Inverness, N.S., and was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Sarah Belle Campbell. Predeceased by her husband Bill Hagarty (2011), and her husband Kevin McNulty (1957). Also predeceased by 6 siblings. Loving mother of Patricia Conway Gallagher, (predeceased 2005) and Kathi McNulty Androschuk (Eli). Beloved Nana to her grandchildren, Josh (Kim), Shauna (Joe), Bree, Beth, Zach (Carly), and great-grandchildren Carys, Liam, Mailee, Kenzington, and Bodhin. Remembered by several nieces and nephews. In her earlier years Gerry was active in the Catholic Womens' League, and enjoyed a 'study club' with a group of friends for over 50 years. Gerry was a devoted member of St. Julia's Church for many years. Throughout her life Gerry entertained family and friends with her Cape Breton expressions and humorous 'zingers.' Gerry excelled in the kitchen. Her cookies and banana breads were the best! The later years of Gerry's life were greatly enriched by her devoted caregiver, Perla, who cared for her 'Queen' with great attention and love. Words cannot express our family's appreciation. Our family's appreciation is also extended to other private caregivers who attended Gerry with commitment and respect. Thanks also for the care and support from the wonderful staff at Extendicare. Visitation will be at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 12noon until time of Vigil prayers in the funeral home on Thursday, Ferbruary 7, 2019 at 2pm. Entombment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.13324815
