Edward Carney

CARNEY, Edward - It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Otis Frederick Carney of Daytona Beach FL and formerly of Chatham, announces his sudden passing on Thursday January 24th, 2019 at the age of 53 years. Cherished son of Ed and Sheyla Carney of Chatham. Beloved husband of Christine (DeBaets) Carney. Loving father of Drew and Brock. Dear brother of Wendie Blasy and Debra (Frank) Brecevic, and dear brother-in-law of Murray DeBaets, Marcia (Roger) Caron, and Karen (Jeffrey) Babb. He will lovingly be remembered by his several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation and can be made at the ALEXANDER & HOULE FUNERAL HOME, 245 Wellington St, West, Chatham, 519-352-2710. Sympathy and thoughts to family and friends. We drifted apart in adulthood but I still to this day count Edward as one of my close friends. He was always a good friend in our youth and I have many fond memories of him and our time together over those years.

Christine and family,

I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing, he was often at our house, with my sons Peter and Marc. He was a good man, he will be forever in your hearts.
