William Charles "Bill" Burgess

BURGESS, William Charles "Bill" - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bill Burgess on, Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital. Beloved husband of Donna for over 34 years. Much loved father of Lorri (Tim) Eckert, Rusty Burgess, Jeff Burgess and Mark Musikov. Loving grandpa of Jamie, Samantha, Jessica, D.J. and Madison. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Life time employee of CN Rail, Bill was a very active volunteer/member, including CARP, the Sanderson Centre, Kiwanis Grand River and many others over his life. Many thanks to the Nurses and staff at the Brantford General Hospital and CCAC. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331, on Wednesday, January 23rd, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Private family services and a burial will take place at a later date. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and service details will be available at www.beckettglaves.com. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear husband, father & grandfather. I worked with Bill for several years with the Brantford CARP chapter. He was a devoted volunteer and will be deeply missed.

I looked after Bill for many years with his 2008 Impala at Stricklands great guy will miss him.
