Wilma Marie “Willie” Smeltzer

SMELTZER, Wilma Marie “Willie” - Of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, at home on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Walter “Hank” Smeltzer and dearly loved mother of Frances Clark (John) of St. Thomas and loved step-mother of Shirley Jones (Jim) of Port Stanley and Barbara (Rudi Mulder) of Wyoming. Cherished grandmother of Mitch Walker (Desiree), Tobi Pearce (Dan), Kelly Sanchez (Ian), Kevin Clark (Michelle), Dallas Jones (Christa) and Wes Jones. She was the last of her immediate family. Predeceased by 2 brothers Jack Clark (Donna) and Frank Clark (Pauline) and a sister the late Betty Murray (late Bill). Dear cousin to Olga and Arnold Bell of Goderich. Wilma was born in London on September 2nd, 1934. She was a life member of Grace United Church (New Vision Community Church), a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 41 and Branch 15. Wilma was an avid card player, especially playing cribbage. Resting at WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME , 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. Private interment in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Cancer Society or the Lung Association. A very special thanks to the PSW's and Lorraine for all their wonderful care and compassion over the years.13314959
