JUPP, Ian A. - Passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Ian was a caring and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all of us. Ian was born in Grantham, England in 1943. He studied and apprenticed as a Steam Turbine Engineer, eventually moving to Canada with his family in 1969. After retiring from Westinghouse/Siemens, Ian spent time travelling the world with his wife, Carol, and planting beautiful gardens wherever he lived. Ian was an avid woodworker in his retirement years and built many beautiful pieces over the years for family and friends. Ian was well known for his sharp wit and intelligence. He was everyone's favourite Trivial Pursuit partner. He had a love for cryptic crosswords, fishing and beer with friends at the local pub. He enjoyed Buddy Holly, Ella Fitzgerald, The Rolling Stones and classical musical as well as a really thick history book. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL FUNERAL HOME . In accordance with Ian`s wishes, cremation has already taken place. Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of Ian's life where we will raise a toast of Jack Danielís, share our stories and remember a really good man.
