Patricia Shirley Parrish

PARRISH, Patricia Shirley - Patricia Shirley Parrish of Wallaceburg and formerly of Dover Centre passed away peacefully in Chatham on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the age of 92. Pat is the daughter of the late Harvey & Cora May (McLean) DuChene. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Loving mother of Shirley Faubert (Ron), Wayne Parrish (Norma), Art Parrish (Barb), Brenda Quinlan, Paul Parrish (Paulette), Scott Parrish (Pat) and Tricia Crow (John). Dear grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Sister of John DuChene and the late Cal, Fred, Don and Michael Duchene and Phylis and Madge Ramsay. Pat and her husband Ken farmed 150 acres on the Bay Line in Dover Township consisting of cash crops, cucumbers, tomatoes and occasionally some livestock. Pat was an avid square dancer, very active in her church and loved to quilt. Regardless of how busy her life might have been she always managed to have time to drop you a card in the mail. The family received relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME , 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM on Wednesday. The funeral was celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, November 15 at 11 AM. Memories of Pat were shared by Art Parrish, Kendall Quinlan and Heather Dobratz on behalf of the family. The pallbearers were Jason Parrish, Ryan Parrish, Mike Parrish, Steve Parrish, Jeff Parrish, Jack Crow, Kyle Quinlan and Joe Faubert. Burial in Owen Cemetery.
